Rossendale                     Drum   Majorettes
About Us

We are Drum Marching Majorette troupe based in Rossendale, Lancashire.

About Us

Rossendale Drum Majorettes was Established in May 2018 by our Director Simon Creasey as a performing arts group which comprises of our own marching band with majorette sections – Pompom, Baton, Color Guard performances as well as Ceremonial Mace displays.
We accept members aged 6yrs+
Any younger members wishing to join we would ask that a parent or legal guardian (over 18yrs) accompany them to training and events in accordance to our policies and procedures.
Band members must be able to carry heavy musical instruments for long periods of time to be considered for the band.
The group take part in local public events, displays, festivals, school fetes/fayres and carnivals throughout the year and most are within a short radius of Rossendale.
Most of the bookings we attend act as fundraisers for the troupe and help towards the cost of purchasing and/or replacing equipment as well as other running costs such as room hire.
We are a voluntarily run and are a registered limited community based company.
Majority of our trainers and volunteers are made up of past members of majorette troupes and combined have over 30 years of experience and knowledge behind us.
All our volunteers are DBS cleared and we always have a Pediatric and/or General First Aider at training and public events.
We are a professional group and have several Policies and Procedures in place (which members or parents/guardians must read, acknowledge and adhere by at all times) to safeguard all to ensure everyone attending enjoys their experience in a safe environment.
We currently train at Whitewell Bottom Community Centre from 6pm until 7:30pm every Tuesday. Sometimes additional training is required which members will be notified in plenty of time.
Membership subs are £12.50 per month (Excludes , per person and paid monthly. There is also an added cost to purchase our personalised merchandise.
Our performing uniforms are supplied free of charge.
Further details, photo’s or videos of our performances can be found on our Facebook page or or you can email: rdmajorettes@outlook.com

DRUMMER

Rossendale Drum Majorettes Mascot

Drummer loves to dance!

You will usually find him dancing or drumming along at our event, often getting up to mischeif by distracting our members.

If you see him give him a wave!!
